Michelle Carter
Michelle Carter plays Michele King, Gina’s sassy assistant. She and Gina enjoy daily banter about life, love, and the design business. While Michele struggles with her own love interests she guides Gina in going after what she wants. She’s more than Gina’s assistant, there’s an unspoken bond between them.
Michelle Carter is a native of Richmond, Virginia and was raised in a creative family of musicians, artists and actors. At the age of five, she walked on stage for the first time in a production of The Amen Corner and never looked back.
Michelle graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her B.F.A. in Theater. After graduating, she regularly performed in the Richmond Theater Community, where she starred in shows such as Little Shop of Horrors, Once on this Island, and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Some of her recent stage credits include Welcome Home Jenny Sutter, Noises Off, and Doubt.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Michelle has appeared on Grey’s Anatomy and in several commercials for Toyota and Southwest Airlines. A cancer survivor, she spends her free time advocating for cancer survivors around the globe.
