Harrison White plays Jamie, the fun loving and full of life owner/manager of HIGH bar, the most popular spot in Venice. He not only knows how to prepare Gina’s perfect martini, he has been part of her life and Owen's for years, they share a bond . Jamie provides a comedic liaison between Gina and those who sweep in and out of her life.
White is currently starring in Seussical as the lead character, The Cat in the Hat. He was recently nominated for the 2009 NAACP Theater Award for his co-starring role in the world premier of Gulls.
White’s other SBC production credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, The Full Monty, Miss Saigon, and Ain’t Misbehavin’. At the Pasadena Playhouse he performed in the world premier productions of Ray Charles Live, Sister Act The Musical, as well as It’s A Wonderful Life and Purlie. For his role in Purlie, White won the 2005 LA Ovation Award for Featured Actor In a Musical and was also nominated for the 2006 NAACP and the Black Theatre Alliance Awards.
Other theater credits include the Broadway and LA companies of The Lion King, London’s West-End and CLO productions of Smokey Joe’s Café, for which he was nominated for London’s Laurence Olivier Award. He also starred in the Broadway and National Tour of Sarafina.
White’s film credits include I Got The Hook Up starring opposite Master P, Se7en starring opposite Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, and Doom Asylum co-starring opposite Kristen Davis.
