Courtney Dashe moved five times before the age of ten, so once she turned eighteen, leaving her then home state of California to pursue her music dreams in Nashville, TN was a given. After finishing an undergraduate degree Courtney worked several years on the business side of the music industry, secretly penning songs in the after hours. She was offered a publishing contract (2006) with country star Martina McBride’s publishing company in a co-venture with producer Paul Worley’s (Lady Antebellum, Dixie Chicks) publishing company, Skyline Music. After several major label artists had recorded her songs, Courtney released her first EP “Paper Airplane” in 2009.
