SAINT JOHN OF SAINT JOHN AND THE REVELATIONS

Saint John was born in Victoria, on Vancouver Island in Canada. When he was a young lad, he moved down the coast to California, ending up in the bohemian capital of Los Angeles, Venice beach.

But California was not enough for SJ, so after a period of playing guitar on the strand in Venice, and after he was out of high school for a few months, he decided to take a more daring step in his life, and moved over to Europe, where he began busking in dozens of cities.

Like many of the greatest folk artists before him, busking taught him a lot about performing in front of all sorts of people on the streets, and as he performed he grew as an artist and songwriter, and performer.

He has many fans spread out around the world, and has shipped his Cd’s to over 25 countries, and had his music played on indie radio stations in many of the places that he has traveled to.

Recently Saint John’s song “Mercy” , a song that won over the ears of record producer Paul Fox ( Bjork, 10 Thousand Maniacs, XTC ,Phish, etc,) will be featured as the end title of one of the most successful on line series to emerge in this new world of on line television Venice: the Series.
