Episode 201 Gina finds herself in the middle of a tragic event at her father’s home and it becomes heated when the Colonel insists she help him cover up the incident as to not tarnish his record. As the intensity escalates, the Colonel collapses. After Gina calls for an ambulance, she realizes she needs help in covering up this incident and calls her most trusted friend. While Lara displays anguish with her editor and her book deal, Ani relaxes her with a massage and intimate dancing. Guya catches a brief glimpse of a red haired woman from her balcony. The episode comes to a close with a distraught Gina, alone and reflecting about her life and lost love, Ani. Episode 202 Owen awakens the morning after his romantic evening with Sami to voice-mails that his father is in the hospital. Later, Sami ends up on the beach reading a book where she first becomes acquainted with Van. Guya has another brief encounter with the mysterious woman. Catherine finds herself intrigued with a woman in the restaurant and rehearses lines in her head when an unaware Alan walks up and interrupts the moment. Gina and Jamie share a walk on the beach discussing the tragic evening before and all of the details. As Gina leans on Jamie for support, he reveals that he knows the deceased woman’s identity. Just as he reveals her colorful alias, they break out into hysterical laughter. Later, while kneeling in the sand on the beach, Gina looks up to see Ani. Episode 203 Ani comforts and supports Gina while they both admit missing each other. Their connection and chemistry is palpable. Later, while alone on the beach, Gina’s mind drifts back to special moments with Ani. Guya attempts to soften the Colonel and persuade him to be less obstinate regarding his therapy and children. Later at home, Guya is surprised while meditating by her son, Van. Michele and Jamie share a few relaxing moments gossiping and dishing about their non-existent love lives. Michele suggests in jest that he try online dating to which the vivacious Jamie proclaims them all “crazies”! Lara and Ani share a picnic on the beach. They discuss their work and it is obvious Lara is still having issues with her editor and book deal. Even so, they share intimate and playful moments together. After the Colonel falls asleep in his chair, Gina covers him with a blanket and finds herself once again lost in thought while gazing on his mantle at his medals. Episode 204 Guya has a new love interest, Brandon. Katherine is anxious and unsure about her visit with Guya as well as her prediction that she would have a relationship with a woman. The reading however was interrupted by a mysterious phone call. Lara while on the beach again finds herself needing to relax and reaches for a flask in her bag. Gina jogs on the beach to find Lara asleep and notices her flask as Lara attempts to conceal it. Sami and Owen have a long discussion about family and later at the soup kitchen she again runs into Van, still unaware of his connection to Owen. Episode 205 Guya and Gina have a long talk about the Colonel and her mom while she tries to help Gina relate to her fathers issues. Ani is beginning to suspect that Lara has a problem with alcohol. After dinner, she distracts from drinking with a hot steamy shower. Alone in bed, Guya reminisces about her sister, Katie. Episode 206 Gina continues her uphill battle in getting the Colonel to cooperate with his rehabilitation. Ani once again walks in on Lara having a glass of wine while writing at the computer. Later they share a picnic on the beach and Ani shares her issues with food. Guya’s troubled stranger reappears appearing lost and begging for direction, but again disappears as mysteriously as she appears. Michele and Jamie dish about his new twitter man while she reveals her secret desire to design and as always Jamie is supportive and encouraging. Episode 207 Gina and an obstinate Colonel still struggle with their relationship and his recovery. All of the friends gather at a beach party. On the way, Gina runs into an old high school friend, Richard. Jamie is giddy as he has his new man by his side. Van shows up and Sami is surprised to discover that he is related to Owen. Lara and Ani snuggle on a blanket, but a protective Gina advises Lara later not to hurt Ani. At home later, Guya confronts Van about his intentions regarding Sami and Owen and is worried that the past will repeat itself. On the way home, Gina sees Richard again and while reminiscing she and realizes that he isn’t aware that she is gay and she doesn’t correct him. Episode 208 Gina is at the end of her rope and tries blackmail as a tactic to get the Colonel to exercise and is delighted when it works. Guya has an intense session with her distraught stranger seeing a winding road and a crash. Lara, Jamie and Drew are at the rooftop bar having cocktails when Ani calls and Lara lies to her on the phone. Jamie calls her on it and encourages her to be honest with Ani. Van again finds a time to see Sami without Owen at home. He pretends to apologize to Sami, and tells the story of his mom stepping in to raise his cousins when their mom died and that he resents them. Owen is suspicious of Van’s motives. Gina meets with Ani to plan her after party for her gallery opening. The two end up sharing a quiet dance and When Ani goes by to see Lara, she discovers an upsetting e-mail on the computer from Lara’s editor about missed deadlines. Episode 209 Ani finds Lara passed out on her sofa. The Colonel gets Gina to admit that she is in love with someone. Gina’s assistant, Michele, is being pressured by Alan for finished designs. Gina, Guya and Owen relax at home while having drinks and playing ” if i were an asshole”. Owen runs into Jamie and admits to his old friend that he lost the movie and hasn’t told anyone else. While alone, Guya continues her journey into the past and relives what really happened the horrible night that Katie was killed. Episode 210 Owen tries to explain his tormented relationship with his father to Sami. Michele under enormous pressure to meet the deadline with Alan, turns in one of her designs as Gina’s. Ani’s after party: Lara watches Gina talk to Ani with apparent concern. Katherine catches herself gazing at women. Gina and Jamie discover that Brandon, Guya’s new guy, is a detective and is investigating the death of a hooker that mysteriously appeared at a funeral home. Gina and Jamie excuse themselves and have a hysterical moment. Jamie, then recalls the evening in question for Gina and how the body ended up at the funeral home. Guya has a vision of the disturbed red haired lady. A drunken Lara falls into the pool. Gina helps Ani get her home safely. Episode 211 Lara and Ani argue about the evening before and Ani confronts her about her drinking. It escalates and Ani leaves. Owen comes clean about the movie with Guya and she encourages him to trust in his relationship enough to tell Sami. Gina writes a letter to Ani confessing her true feelings and reads it to herself out loud while mistakenly thinking the colonel is asleep in his chair. Van shows up at the soup kitchen to see Sami and kisses her right at the moment that Owen is walking into the room. Owen leaves unnoticed. Lara again is at the bar drinking siting her that her book deal was pulled and being upset over Ani. As always, Jamie lends an ear and when Lara falls asleep at the bar, he calls her a car. Ani confides her concerns with Lara’s drinking with Gina. They have a special moment that ends in an embrace. Ani goes to find Lara at home and finds her inebriated. Their discussion becomes heated, then turns violent leaving Ani injured. Episode 212 Sami is frantically trying to call Owen while still unaware of what he witnessed at the soup kitchen. Meanwhile, a distraught and emotional Owen, is with another woman. Van finds Sami and tells her Owen’s secret which later leads to a confrontation between the two. The Colonel decides to intervene in his daughter’s life in a way that could change her life forever. Michele gets a call from Alan with his decision regarding the designs. Lara and Ani awaken in bed to both physical and emotional distance and are faced with the disturbing truth. Guya has an intense and emotional confrontation that shines a light on her troubled past. |
