I enjoy all the actors on Venice. I think they were perfectly cast and so talented. This series should be a good ride with all of this talent before us.

I miss Olivia like crazy too !!! I sit through DOOL 'cause I adore CC but absolutely hate the "damsel in distress" thing they are doing with Carly. Why do all the men in Salem have to protect Carly? Aghhh! It's tiresome. Will DOOL ever realize that they have Crystal Chappell on their cast and give her a story line worthy of her talents. Where have all the good writers gone? Missing the power suits and Olivia sitting at her desk, big time (loved it when Natalia used to come in too). Oh, Olivia Spencer... how I miss thee. Please come back.

sorry bout that. New here and I'm a big fan of CC. To answer the question; I saw Carly 1.0 the first time on Days. I immediatly fell in love with the character. When she left, the heartbreak was real. I didn't know about Olivia Spencer until the show was over. Hell, CC fell off the radar with me. ( To be honest, I just didn't watch CBS station)So when the announcement was made that CC was returning to Days, I ran to the nearest computer and googled her to find out where she's been all this time. Low and behold, she was on CBS'GL for the past 10 yrs. So I googled Olivia Spencer and there was CC. I began watching the Olivia Spencer era and I was completely hooked on this character. At first, I wanted to be Dr. Carly Manning when I grew up. That was when I was 19. Now I'm 37 and I want to be Olivia Spencer when I grow up. Olivia beats Carly hands down. Let me elaborate a little bit. (Forgive me for saying this) If there was a penis swinging contest and all the men from GL and Dool were competing ... Olivia freakin'Spencer would beat'em ALLLLL! That woman is the Shit! I love Olivia and I will welcome the day when she emerges outta Carly. I swear, sometimes I can see her coming out of Carly ... Sometimes.

I am so grateful that Crystal Chappell went directly to DOOL as Carly after Guiding Light ended.I would follow crystal and support her where ever she went,but she is Olivia Spencer.I watched Guiding light as a preteen in the early 80's and watched Crystal as olivia the whole 10 years she was on GL. I miss Guiding Light so much and in my eyes she made history as Olivia on Guiding Light and although I like her acting as Carly,I miss Olivia and Guiding light so much.She can be proud to have been a part of Guiding Light to the end and I am proud of her.
