As I Saw You

I looked into your eyes and saw the innocence the world misunderstood. Oh ! in your struggle you held your head high and kept your pride. I saw the beauty of your soul and some of the reasons why. So beautiful you were in your sickness and pride. You looked like an angel mounted up for your task . So innocent and frail I touched your hand and and stroked your face I was in awe of your beauty that made me proud. An angel in battle that mounted your horse so willingly with power and pride of your deeds in hand. Oh ! how I'll miss your sweet beautiful face and all the characters you played on a stage most people could not. Your father and all his angels gave you a standing ovation. I gave you the love you well deserved because in the end you gave me the joy of finding my soul. So soul to soul mother to daughter thank you for sharing your love. You were my hero now I can fly higher than an eagle above the mountain tops where we will fly together one sweet day. I started out your baby you ended up mine oh what a beautiful baby you were. Now you are my mother again- watch over your child. We lived our roles and we lived them well.
Now take your rest thats well deserved. I want say goodbye because I will forever feel you in my soul and see your smiling face. So I'll say see you tomorrow momma because you will always be in my heart.

Wow that was beautiful and touching. I don't cry that often but line you wrote I started out your baby and you ended up mine tore me apart because that was my mom and siblings she had alzheimer's. She passed 5/09 and not a day goes by that I don't think of her and love her. Thank you for your words just beautiful as your mom.

You are very lucky to have been blessed by such loveliness. I saw your favorite portrait of her and she was beautiful.
So sorry for your loss. So happy you had her to begin with.
I'm sure you have many memories to cherish.

Very nice poem, I still miss my mom and she died 6 years ago. We were very close and i could always understand and read her thoughts. I told her it was because I spent 9 months in her womb and she would laugh. i'll see her again in heaven someday but it doens' make it any easier now. Love you and take care.

Very nice poem, I still miss my mom and she died 6 years ago. We were very close and i could always understand and read her thoughts. I know what you mean about reading ur mom thoughts when my mom stopped communicating it was the same with us a connection I think you can fine with no other than a mom. i called her my babygirl & she would smile from ear to ear. I will miss that beautiful smile so much & her beautiful spirit that gave me fulfillment every day she was with me. I continue to think of her every day & the
wonderfull memories I was allowed to have with her that will help my heart to heal. lol

Tee, that was so beautiful, I have a lump in my throat. I lost my Mom too, and I think of her ALL the time. I still talk to her, and I know she hears me. My Dad too. Miss them so much.

Thanks 4 ur kind words as I reply to you thoughts of my mom are so in my mind & heart. I miss her so there's and emptiness in my life tht I know I will never be able to fill. I truely know the saying there's no other love like a mother's love. so love them while their here and did before & for the 9yrs when she needed me the most with Alzheimer's I keep her with me in my home, so missed her now.
