Tequila Revolucion

Interest in handcrafted, small batch tequilas in the last decade has been nothing short of phenomenal… we like to call it a tequila revolution. It is no great revelation that this delicate and beguiling spirit of Jalisco has quietly found its way to your caballito, cocktail or simply replaced the perfect martini.

Tequila has a history of distinctiveness, as it is obtained exclusively from the “Agave Tequilana Weber variedad Azul” or “blue agave” plant. The agave plant takes anywhere from six to ten years to mature, this being one of the main factors that determines the quality of the final product. The production of tequila is strictly regulated by the CRT (Consejo Regulador del Tequila), whose symbol appears on every label of tequila.

The Tequila Regulatory Board appoints supervisors who periodically inspect all tequila plants. For a tequila manufacturer to be able to claim that his product is “made with 100% agave” the presence of a Board Supervisor is required during the entire manufacturing process of every lot. For tequila to bear the Reposado or Añejo label, a supervisor must be present to seal the bung of every barrel, registering the date on which it was filled and the type of tequila it contains. The supervisor must be present as well to oversee the extraction of the liquid from the barrel.

International connoisseurs now insist on Premium tequilas made from 100% agave. Many people are savoring the tequilas straight up, rather than in a cocktail or accompanied with lime and salt. This shift in demand and heightened expectations provoked the creation of Tequila REVOLUCION.

Our goal is to convey the image of a noble, pure and superior spirit, and through a novel concept of pure distillate 100 PROOF tequila, start a new revolution in how it can be enjoyed.

Tequila REVOLUCION embodies all the characteristics and strict regulations of a small batch, premium tequila, however go well beyond expectations by offering a unique tasting experience that doesn’t require a fancy cover price- you pay for the quality of the product. You’ll just feel like you’re paying for much more.
